Description
Osprey is a loch view cabin that provides self catering accommodation for six people in 3 bedrooms. Cabin is constructed to a very high standard with a wealth of character & charm to provide a true log cabin experience.
Cabin is situated in an elevated position with stunning views over open meadows, beautiful Loch Awe and the hills beyond.
The accommodation consists of open plan Lounge, dining area & kitchen, double bedroom, twin bedroom, double bunk room and family shower room. Lounge also includes a sofa bed, which can sleep a further two people if required.
The lounge / dining area, which has a high vaulted ceiling, has satellite TV, DVD, Hi Fi (via TV & DVD), sofa, easy chairs, dining table for six and a lovely wood burning stove. Loch elevation is mainly glazed, to maximise the stunning view, with French windows opening onto a raised veranda area.
Wifi broadband available @ extra £30 per week or £15 per short break.
The kitchen area is well equipped, with cooker, fridge (with freezer compartment), microwave, toaster, kettle and all necessary utensils, crockery & cutlery.
Shower rooms are tastefully finished and have electric showers, wash basin, toilet and shaver point.
Bedroom 1 is a first floor mezzanine room with views over the loch. It has an en-suite shower room, double bed, wardrobe / clothes storage and bed side table.
Bedroom 2 has twin beds, wardrobe / clothes storage and bed side cabinet.
Bedroom 3 has two bunk beds, wardrobe / clothes storage.
Outside there is parking for 2 cars, an elevated veranda with garden furniture, including picnic table a BBQ area and grassed area. The cabins provide privacy and are bordered by a large open meadow on which children can play safely, while watched over from the living area.
The cabin is timber lined throughout, double glazed, highly insulated, well heated and suitable for year round use. It provides a balance of luxury and comfort while maintaining the character, charm & feel of a true log cabin in a quiet forest location.
All electricity and linen (not towels) are included within quoted prices. We charge £20 per dog per stay.
We also charge a deposit fee of £50 (£100 for groups of 5 or more) payable directly to us 4 weeks prior to arrival. This will be refunded within 2 weeks of departure, subject to satisfactory inspection of premises after departure.
This is a non smoking cabin.
